The Collection

The Retrograde Chronograph pays suitable tribute to the famed jet without being cluttered and fussy in its carefully considered design. The Retrograde edition seemingly brings the instrument panel and cockpit of the Hawker Hunter to the wrist of the wearer with a homage and representation that is still utterly practical and balanced as a timepiece.

The Case

The AVI-8 Hawker Hunter AV-4052-R1 is presented in a 45mm brushed stainless steel case.  It exhibits a push down crown at 3 o’clock and two push-buttons that are located either side of it at 2 and 4 o’clock.  The etched stainless steel caseback fastens as a screwdown.

The Dial

The AV-4052-R1 textured grey dial pays homage to the instrument panel and cockpit of the Hawker Hunter fighter jet.  Between 4 and 5 o'clock you will find a date display.  At 3, 6 and 10 o'clock you will locate 3 chronograph subdials.  The AVI-8 logo sits proudly between 8 and 9 o'clock.  Using a combination of illuminating numbers and hour markers in the material 'Luminova'.

The Strap

This AVI-8 Hawker Hunter mens watch is fixed with a black calf leather strap which fastens with a pin buckle.
