When Danish adventurer and businessman René Kaerskov parachuted into the Arctic in 2008, he had no idea that his descent would spark a new era. As he approached the most northerly point of the globe, Kaerskov was awestruck by the simple beauty and infinite white expanse of the seemingly endless ice sheets. Taking inspiration from this fateful moment, Kaerskov decided to develop a watch brand that would be as pure, clear and stunningly serene as the Arctic itself – Bering watches was born.
