The Columbia CSC02-002 Canyon Ridge Watch is inspired by classic outdoor design and providing a sleek, ergonomic fit, this watch is essential anywhere you wander.
The Case:
The case’s diameter measures at 42mm and it is made of stainless steel, in order to increase the longevity of the watch. The gold bezel is fixed and it gives the watch with a sophisticated feel. It also features a knurled crown that is situated at the 4 o’clock marks. Knurled crowns are also used on the widely respected Seiko SKX divers. The crown topped with a crown guards in order to provide the watch with extra protection against the unexpected. Mineral-hardened glass is also used which provides the watch with a further layer of protection.
The Strap and Dial:
The camouflage black nylon strap gives the watch an authentic outdoors feel. It also serves a practical purpose, as it is flexible and therefore provides the wearer with maximum comfort. The strap fastens easily using a buckle clasp. The dial of the watch is black, it features gold white indices and hollow gold hands. There is a date window present at the 4 o’clock mark. The outer dial ring features red numerals, which give the watch a complete look, as it matches the cloud of the seconds hand and the crown case.
The Functions:
The watch is powered by highly reliable Japanese quartz movement. Also the watch is water resistant up to 50 metres, making the watch suitable for swimming in shallow depths.

The brand’s history began in 1937, when the Lammfromm family fled from Nazi Germany and settled in Portland, Oregon. They purchased a small hat manufacturer, naming it the Columbia Hat Company. The company was eventually passed down to Neal Boyle, the husband of Gert Boyle who's father it was who started the company. Gert Boyle eventually assumed control of the company in 1970, following Neal Boyle’s sudden passing. She soon earned herself a reputation as the ‘Tough Mother’ of the company due to the high standards to which she held herself and others. These standards still guide the company today.
