The Khaki Field range pays homage to the Hamilton watches used by the United States military in 1910.

Since its foundation in 1892, Hamilton Watch Company have developed a reputation for being a provider of accurate timekeeping. Hence they earned the title of “The Watch of Railroad Accuracy”, as a result of their highly accurate pocket watches.
Hamilton earned a place in history, as they found themselves suppliers of watches to the US military in both world wars.The US Naval Lab invited the Hamilton Watch Company to create an American made chrono. There was a shortage of chronos available to the US Government during the First World War. Therefore they had to rely solely on European made pieces.For this reason Hamilton agreed in 1941 to undertake the work. Moreover, by 1944 Hamilton had produced more than 10,000 Chronometers in aid of the American War effort.
Hamilton have developed a close relationship over the years with Hollywood. Hamilton watches have featured in over 450 films, beginning in 1951 with the Frogman watch. Other films include: Elvis Presley in 1961’s ‘Blue Hawaii’ and in ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’. Furthermore, Hamilton have featured in films such as ‘Interstellar’ and ‘The Martian’.
In 2003 Hamilton moved their headquarters to a facility in Switzerland. They are still a global force within the timepiece industry. This is because Hamilton watches offer a combination of American heritage, Swiss internal workings and a touch of Hollywood flair.
