The Case:
The Ingersoll ‘The Catalina’ features a bold stainless steel case that measures 44.5mm that is crafted out of stainless steel. The case is engineered using a precision slimline design, measuring just 12.7mm in depth. The fixed bezel has been treated to a circular brushed finish, whilst the rest of the case has been treated to a vertical brushed finish, which creates a subtle visual barrier. At the side of the case there is a crown at 3 o’clock that is protected by a crown guard. The case also features scratch resistant mineral glass that is present on both the front and the open case back, which reveals the inner workings of the watch.
The Dial:
The dial is presented in black and features a skeletonised design that reveals the inner workings of the watch. Silver baton-style hour markers are located around the edge of the dial, interspersed by a 60-minute track that is located on the chapter ring. A date-display window is located beside the 3 o’clock marker. In the centre of the dial there is a silver framed sword style handset that has been treated to a luminous coating, ensuring that the dial remains readable in the dark. The Ingersoll logo is presented in white beneath the 12 o’clock marker.
The Bracelet:
This timepiece is presented on a crocodile-style black leather strap. It fastens through the use of a standard metal buckle that is signed with the Ingersoll logo.
The Functions:
This timepiece is powered by an automatic mechanism. It is water resistant up to 50 metres, which means that it can be worn when swimming in shallow waters.
