The Case:
Lorus Duo-Display Mens Watch RW629AX5 features a circular 46mm case that is made out of brushed stainless steel. The case consists of a black bezel that displays a white 60-minute countdown scale and short tapered lugs that give the case a robust, sporty feel. It also features a screw-down crown at 3 o’clock that is flanked by crown guards that prevent the crown from being knocked out of place. There are four push-buttons located at 2, 4, 8 and 10 o’clock that allow the wearer to engage with the dial’s functions. Mineral glass provides the watch with protection against scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The dial can be used to display the time in either an analogical or digital format. The analogical time is displayed through baton-style hour markers, that are interspersed by a 60-minute track, and a silver alpha-style handset that has a luminous coating, which enables the dial to be read in the dark. The digital time is displayed through an LED digital display that can be used to display the time in either a 12/24 hour format. It also displays the month/date/day of week, as well as a daily alarm function. The Lorus logo is presented in white beneath the 12 o’clock marker on the blue chapter ring.
The Bracelet:
The Lorus RW629AX5 is presented on a classic 3-link oyster style bracelet that is made out of brushed stainless steel. It fastens through the use of a deployment clasp that is signed with the Lorus logo.
The Functions:
The RW629AX5 is powered by Japanese made VD53 calibre quartz mechanisms. It is water resistant to 100 metres, which means that the watch can be worn when snorkelling.
