Lorus Sports Chronograph Quartz Green Dial Stainless Steel Bracelet Mens Watch RT393JX9

The Case:

The Lorus Sports Chronograph RT393JXP features a circular 42mm case that is made out of brushed stainless steel. It features a fixed bezel and short tapered lugs that compliment the watch’s sporty aesthetic. A crown is located at 3 o’clock on the side of the case, it is flanked by crown guards that prevent it from being knocked out of place. Two push-buttons are located either side of the crown at 2 and 4 o’clock; they can be used to engage with the dial’s chronograph functions. Mineral glass provides the watch with protection against scratches and shattering. 

The Dial:

The dial is presented in green with an eye-catching sunburst textured pattern. It exhibits three sub-dials at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock that each display a 24 hour timer, a 60-second timer and a 60-minute timer, respectively. It also features baton-style hour markers, that are interspersed by a 60-minute scale, and a silver sword-style handset that is coated with a luminous material that enables the dial to be read in the dark. A tachymeter scale is located around the chapter ring. The Lorus logo is presented in white beneath the 12 o’clock marker.

The Bracelet:

The watch is equipped with a sporty 3-link oyster style bracelet that is made out of brushed stainless steel. The bracelet fastens through the use of a fold over push-deployment clasp. 

The Functions:

The RT393JX9 is powered by Japanese made VD53 calibre quartz mechanisms. It is water resistant to 100 metres, which means that the watch can be worn when snorkelling.
