Luminox Sea Turtle Watch XS.0301.BO.L Leatherback Sea Turtle Men’s features a complete black colour scheme which is inspired by the Navy’s high intense night based missions.  Around the edge of the dial are 12 and 24 hour indexes to suit the needs of both whilst being complimented by hour, minute and second hands, of which are powered by a quartz movement. Also, a simplistic date window replaces the 3 o’clock index, adjacent to the crown. Surrounding the dial is a CARBONOX case which is Luminox’s own material. This material has the main compound of carbon which is known for its tough yet lightweight properties. Then, a rubber strap is able to fasten then standard buckle.

Functions:

All Luminox watches feature a self-powered illumination system employing tiny micro gas light sources. This unique Swiss technology incorporated into the Luminox Sea Turtle Watch XS.0301.BO.L guarantees unsurpassed ability to read the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for up to 25 years. Each watch has micro gas lights mounted on the hands, dial and, when necessary, also on the bezel. This piece boasts unique technology that does not depend on an external light source to ‘charge’ fluorescent paint on the dial or hands in order to glow, nor do Luminox watches require the push of a button to light up as do watches with elctroluminescene.
 
This watch has a water resistance of 200 metres, making it suitable for diving.
