The Luminox XL.8833 from the RECON Nav Spec series commands attention with its robust, utilitarian design built for exploration and precision. Its matte-black dial is contrasted by bold white Arabic numerals for both 12-hour and 24-hour time, while the 9-12 hour markers and seconds hand are highlighted in blue, giving a subtle yet distinctive touch of colour. Encased in a 46mm shell made from ultra-light but extremely tough CARBONOX™, the XL.8833 features a unidirectional rotating bezel with a two-tone aluminium ring insert ideal for timing tasks or navigation use. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating for clarity and durability. With a case thickness of around 13.5mm, the watch feels solid on the wrist while remaining wearable for daily use.

Powered by a Swiss quartz GMT movement (RONDA 515.24H), the XL.8833 enables tracking of two time zones simultaneously, perfect for travellers or those managing different regions. It also includes a date display for everyday convenience.

The black strap is made from durable nitrile rubber, secured by a pin-buckle clasp. The strap incorporates integrated map scales, ruler markings, and a detachable compass, transforming the watch into a true navigation instrument suitable for fieldwork, hiking, or travel.

“Recon Nav Spec” refers to a line of tactical-grade timepieces developed in collaboration with former Swiss Army specialist Andrea Micheli.
