Luminox Sea Original Navy Seal 3000 Evo Series Mens Watch Beige Dial XS.3010.EVO.S
The Case:
This Luminox Navy Seal 3000 Evo Series XS.3010.EVO.S features a black case that is forged from carbon compound material developed by Luminox called Carbonox. The case measures 43mm in diameter and is light to the touch, because Carbonox is six times lighter than steel, but still extremely resilient and durable. It has a distinctive textured appearance and a bold sharp edged shape, which gives the watch a powerful feel.
On top of the case there is a black unidirectional rotating bezel with sandy accents that displays a 60-minute scale with increments of 5-minutes. It also displays one of Luminox’s signature LLT (Luminox Light Technology) which are the luminescent pips that are powered by tritium gas which is located at 12 o’clock. At the side of the case at 3 o’clock there is a steel screw down crown that is protected by a sharp angular crown guard. It also features ultra-scratch resistant sapphire crystal that provides the watch with optimum protection. It has been treated to an anti-reflective coating, which ensures that the dial always remains readable.
The Dial:
The dial is presented in a beige with black accents and it has a classic military aesthetic which is displayed through the 24-hour time format. The 12-hour scale is presented through large black Arabic numerals which form the outer dial, whilst the 24-hour scale is presented through smaller black Arabic numerals which form the inner dial. A date-display window replaces the 3 o’clock marker. Surrounding the outer dial are tritium tubes which ensure that the dial can be read in the dark. In the centre of the dial there is a black syringe style handset, which also has tritium tubing. There is also a GMT hand which is presented in red and this can be used to display the time of a second time-zone. The Luminox shield logo proudly replaces the 24-hour marker on the 24-hour time scale.
The Strap:
The strap is made out of rubber, which means that it is both easy to maintain and comfortable when it is on the wrist. It is presented in beige and it features a pressed Luminox logo which runs all the way around the strap. It fastens through the use of a standard buckle.
The Functions:
This timepiece is powered by Ronda caliber 515 movement which provides the watch with an accuracy of -10/+20 seconds per month and a battery life of 45 months. It is water resistant to 200 metres which means it can be worn when diving.
