The Case:
Mondaine Clock Copper A660.30318.82SBK Magnet 50mm is a minimalist Swiss style and functionality to your home. It is made from copper coloured circularly brushed aluminium and it measures 50cm in diameter. The clock comes featured with a silver aluminium stand, which means that it can be stood up on a surface. The case features an integrated magnet, which attaches it to the stand. It can be easily detached and placed on any other magnetic surface. Hardened mineral crystal glass protects the dial from shattering and scratches.
The Dial:
The design of the dial remains loyal to the design codes of the Bauhaus movement, the German school of design that inspired the design of the face of the Mondaine Classic Swiss Railways. The white dial is characterised by its clean and simplistic design; a 60-minute scale and 12-hour markers are presented around the edge of the dial in copper. A copper baton-style handset occupies the centre of the dial, while trademark red second hand is also present on the dial, which ties the piece back to its Swiss Railway Clock roots. The Mondaine logo is neatly positioned beneath the 12 o’clock marker.
