Seiko 5 Sports Watch SRPG43K1 Black Dial Leather Bracelet Men’s Watch Auto Moai Limited Edition

A unique new offering from Seiko limited to just 800 Pieces, this new Seiko 5 Sports Auto Moai timepiece was created in collaboration with the Japanese visual artist Auto moai. Famous for creating anonymous, faceless designs through strong lines and silhouettes, the artist’s trademark style is a theme visible in this collaboration.

The box accompanying the timepiece is designed in the style of a coffee table art book, which presents the watch as a piece of art in itself when opened. Undoubtedly, the new Seiko 5 Sports Auto Moai is a special edition timepiece that will draw plenty of attention with its blend of vibrant aesthetics and unmistakable wrist presence.

The Case:

The spectacular case of this Seiko 5 Sports timepiece comes crafted from stainless steel in black PVD, whilst Hardlex crystal protects the dial. Connoisseurs will adore the see-through screw-down case back that allows you to peek into the inner workings of this expertly crafted timepiece. Not only that, but it comes with an Auto Moai illustration etched onto its facade, adding a further sense of playfulness.

With a diameter of 42.5mm, there is a unique look to this case thanks to an Auto Moai-inspired black and white design bezel, curved lugs and a large crown with protector at four. As always, the Seiko 5 Sports manage to carry off a special aesthetic with a shell-like design adored by so many across the world.

The Dial:

The sporty dial of this Seiko model reflects its function as an athletic timepiece. With a day date window at three adding depth, all indices and hands are coated in a luminous material for visibility in all conditions.

As always, the Seiko logo at twelve brings esteem and further nuance to the dial. The black dial is given a cool illustration design that is subtle yet striking, managing to convey once more the unique nature of the work of Auto Moai.

The Bracelet:

Made from black and white leather and emblazoned in further Auto Moai designs, the strap of the Seiko Sports 5 takes its cues from previous models. Secure and comfortable, a buckle ensures that this watch never slips away no matter the activity.

The Functions:

An automatic watch, the Seiko 5 Sports has a 4R36 automatic caliber functioning at 21,600 vibrations per hour. With a power reserve of 41 hours, there are 24 jewels in the movement and so this is one reliable automatic watch.

With water resistance to 100m and a day date function, this watch packs plenty into its smaller frame.
