The Case:
The Seiko 5 Automatic Men’s Watch SNZG13K1 is made from stainless steel and it measures 42mm in diameter. The watch’s design adheres to the classic aesthetics of a military watch. The circular case and the fixed bezel have been brushed giving it a matte and scratch resistant appearance, while a recessed push-pull crown is positioned besides at the 3 o’clock mark. Both the watch’s open case back and the front of it are protected by highly durable hardlex crystal glass.
The Dial:
This timepiece has a matte black dial and it exhibits a 24-hour time display which is presented through Arabic numerals and a two step design. The outer dial displays the 12-hour time scale in bold white numeral, with a day-date display window replacing the 3 o’clock marker. The 24-hour scale is presented in the inner dial, as is the Seiko logo which is located under the 24-hour mark. A sword style handset occupies the centre of the dial; it has been filled with Seiko’s lumibrite material. The second hand has a red arrow tip, which allows for a more accurate reading of the time.
The Bracelet:
The 3-link oyster style strap is made from stainless steel that has been treated to a brushed finish, which gives the watch a robust feel. The bracelet fastens through the use of a double lock fold over clasp.
The Functions:
Seiko’s exclusive 7S36 calibre automatic movement powers this watch, it consists of 23 jewels and it offers an accuracy of -20/+40 seconds per day as well as a power reserve of 41 hours. This watch has a water resistance of 30 metres, meaning it should only be exposed to light splashes of water.
