The Case:
The Seiko 5 Sports SRPD76K1 features a 42.5mm PVD rose gold plated stainless steel case. A black unidirectional rotating countdown bezel sits atop of the case, it exhibits a 60-minute scale in silver. The walls of the bezel are coined walls, which allows for it to be easily rotated. The crown is positioned at 4 o’clock in order to prevent it from digging into the wearer’s wrist; it is flanked by two crown guards. The caseback is screwed down, which ensures that the watch remains water-tight. Hardlex crystal glass is used on the front of the case, providing the watch with protection against scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The dial is presented in black, it exhibits rose gold framed handset and hour markers are filled with Lumibrite material, ensuring that the dial can be read in the dark. A day-date display window replaces the 3 o’clock marker, whilst a 60-second track is located on the rehaut. The Seiko logo is presented in rose gold beneath the 12 o’clock marker.
