The Case:
The Seiko Conceptual SUR421P1 is housed in a 39.4mm diameter stainless steel case, with a slim profile of just 8mm. The body of the case has been treated to a brushed finish, whilst the slim fixed bezel has been treated to a polished finish. A push/pull crown is located at 3 o’clock, it features knurled edges allowing it to be easily operated. Sapphire crystal glass provides the watch with optimum protection against scratches and shattering. The case is secured through a solid caseback.
The Dial:
The dial is presented in a cream tone and features a two-step design. The outer dial features silver dauphine-style hour markers that are interspersed by a 60-second track. The 12 and 6 o’clock hour markers are presented using Arabic numerals.The inner dial showcases a concentric pattern, a thin silver dauphine-style handset extends out from the centre of the dial. A date display window is located at 3 o’clock.
The Bracelet:
The watch is presented on a classic brown leather strap with an embossed crocodile pattern. It fastens through the use of a pin buckle clasp. The clasp is signed with the Seiko logo.
The Functions:
This timepiece is powered by Seiko’s Japanese-made 6N52 quartz calibre movement that has a battery life of 36 months and an accuracy rating of +/- 15 seconds per month. It is water resistant up to 100 metres, which means that it is possible to swim or snorkel with the watch on, but it is not appropriate for diving.
