The Case:

The Seiko Presage ‘Keshizumi’ features a brushed stainless steel case that measures 42.2mm in diameter. The surfaces of the case have been treated to a super hard coating, which provides the watch with superlative protection. The case is composed of a fixed black 24-hour bezel, a crown at 3 o’clock and anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass which provides the watch with optimum protection against scratches and shattering. It also features an exhibition case back that provides the wearer with an insight into the inner mechanisms of the watch. 

The Dial:

The dial features a traditional Japanese hemp pattern, which can be seen in Japanese artisan products since the Heian period (794-1185). The dial is presented in a rich brown tone, it features applied bronze hour markers and a bold bronze handset that is filled with luminescent material which enables the dial to be read in the dark. A 60-minute scale surrounds the hour markers, as it is located on the dial’s chapter ring. The dial also exhibits a power reserve display, as well as a 30 minute scale. The Seiko logo is presented beneath the 12 o’clock marker. 

The Bracelet: 

The Seiko Presage ‘Keshizumi’ comes presented on a robust 3-link oyster style bracelet that is crafted out of brushed stainless steel with a super-hard coating. The bracelet fastens through the use of a three-fold clasp with push button release. 

The Functions:

This timepiece is powered by Seiko’s 4R36 automatic calibre movement, which offers a power reserve of 41 hours and beats at 21,600VPH. The expected accuracy of the movement is between +45/-35 seconds per day. It has a water resistance of 100 metres, which means that it can be worn when snorkelling.
