The Seiko Presage Takumi ‘Laurel’ SPB359J1 has been designed to commemorate 110 years since Seiko’s original wristwatch was released in 1913 and incorporates several of the original features. With a stainless steel case measuring 39.3mm in length and a height of 12.6mm, this watch is sure to be a statement piece. The crown is comfortably placed next to the 3 o’clock position
The Dial:
The enamel dial has been recreated by a skilled Japanese artisan craftsman Mr Yokosawa by hand using traditional heritage enameling techniques. The historical design is combined with the modern Automatic in-house 6R27 calibre movement and boasts a power reserve of over 45 hours.
The Bracelet:
The bracelet on the Takumi Laurel has a classically designed stainless steel three-link oyster bracelet, which was originally designed by Rolex in 1948. The bracelet is secured by a three-fold clasp and features a secure lock to ensure your watch remains on your wrist during sporting activities.
The Functions:
The Takumi Laurel features Seiko’s 4R57 automatic movement and has a power reserve of 41 hours. It boasts 24 jewels and has an accuracy of +45/-35 seconds per day. As well as automatic movement, this watch offers hand winding and a hacking feature. It is also water resistant up to 50 meters making this watch suitable for splashes and swimming in shallow water.
