The Case:
The Sekonda Chronograph 1774 is a multi-functional sports chronograph watch that combines style and practicality. The case is made from polished black ion-plated stainless steel and it measures 45mm in diameter. At the side of the case there is an enlarged push/pull crown that is positioned beside the 3 o’clock marker. Two push-buttons are located either side of the crown guards, these buttons provide access to the chronograph functions. Mineral crystal glass is used which provides the watch with superlative levels of protection from scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The sunburst black dial exhibits three sub-dials that display a 12-hour scale, a 60-minute scale and 24-hour scale. Around the outside of the dial there are rose gold stick-style hour markers, while a tachymeter scale is present on the chapter ring of the dial.. In the centre of the dial there is a pencil-style handset which also has a luminescent filling. A date-display window is located in between the 4 and 5 o’clock markers, while a 60-minute scale is displayed on the chapter ring. The Sekonda logo is presented in white beside the 3 o’clock marker.
The Strap:
The black strap is made from perforated leather, which allows it to breathe when it is on the wrist. The strap fastens using a standard metal buckle which has the Sekonda logo etched into it.
The Functions:
Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate. It has a water resistance rating of 50 metres, which means it can be worn when swimming in shallow waters.
