The Case:
Sekonda Classic 1640 Quartz Stainless Steel Bracelet Men’s Watch is a striking looking timepiece, as its circular case is made from polished stainless steel, which gives it a distinctive elegant appearance. The case measures 40mm in diameter and it features a unique coined bezel, as well as a push/pull crown. Mineral glass is used which provides the watch with protection against scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The blue sunburst dial of the Sekonda Classic 1640 retains a simplistic layout, which ensures that it can be easily read whilst also bestowing the watch with a sophisticated feel. Silver baton style hour markers are located around the edge of the dial; they have been partly filled with a luminescent material which allows the dial to be read in the dark. In between the hour markers there is a 60-minute track, which allows for a more accurate reading of the time. A small date-display window is located in the inside of the 3 o’clock marker. A silver baton style handset occupies the centre of the dial, it has also been filled with luminescent material.
The Bracelet:
The stainless steel bracelet is fashioned in a 5-link jubilee style. It features a combination of finishes, with the outer two links being polished and the inner 3 links being polished. The bracelet fastens through the use of fold over deployment clasp.
The Functions:
Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate. It has a water resistance rating of 100 metres, which means it can be worn when snorkelling.
