The Case:
Sekonda Classic Men’s Watch 1862 combines style and practicality. The case is made from stainless steel and it measures 45mm in diameter. The case has been treated to a brushed finish, which gives it a utilitarian feel. On top of the case there is a green tachymeter scale. At the side of the case there is an enlarged push/pull crown that is positioned beside the 3 o’clock marker. Two push-buttons are located either side of the crown guards, these buttons provide access to the chronograph functions. Mineral glass is used which provides the watch with superlative levels of protection from scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The green dial exhibits multifunctional three sub-dials and silver baton-style hour markers that are located around the edge of the dial. In the centre of the dial there is a sword style handset which also has a luminescent filling. A date-display window is located beside the 4 o’clock marker, while a 60-minute scale is displayed on the chapter ring. The Sekonda logo is presented in silver beside the 3 o’clock marker.
The Strap:
The black strap is made from leather with contrasting white stitching. The strap has been perforated, which allows it to breathe when it is on the wrist. The strap fastens using a standard metal buckle which has the Sekonda logo etched into it.
The Functions:
Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate. It has a water resistance rating of 50 metres, which means it can be worn when swimming in shallow waters.
