The Case:
The refined gold PVD stainless steel circular case of the Sekonda Classic 1838 measures 40mm and it has been treated to a polished finish, which bestows it with an elegant feel. The design of the watch adheres to the conventional characteristic found on dress watches such as, the short straight lugs, thin profile and the recessed crown. Mineral glass provides the watch with protection from scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The design of the sunburst gold dial is also atypical of that of a dress watch as it is simplistic, yet classy. Around the edge of the dial there are slender golden baton style hour markers which provide the watch with a touch of sophistication. In the centre of the dial there is a dauphine handset that is presented in gold. A day-date display window is located beside the 3 o’clock marker, while the Sekonda logo is located underneath the 12 o’clock marker.
The Strap:
The black leather strap features a pressed crocodile style design, which complements the watch’s elegant aesthetics. The strap fastens through the use of a standard gold buckle.
The Functions:
Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate. It has a water resistance rating of 30 metres, which means it should not be exposed to anything more than light splashes of water.
