The Case:
Sekonda Sports Watch 1512 Quartz Blue Dial Stainless Steel Mens is an elegant timepiece that is simple, yet effective. The circular case is made from ion-plated stainless steel that has been treated to a polished finish. It measures 44mm in diameter. The case features a push/pull crown that is positioned beside the 3 o’clock marker and protected by a crown guard. The black bezel displays a 60-minute scale with increments of 10-minutes, at the top of the bezel there is a luminescent pip. Sapphire crystal glass is used which provides the watch with superlative levels of protection from scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The blue dial exudes sophistication as it utilises an uncomplicated layout that is accentuated by the dial's hobnail pattern design. Around the edge of the dial are a combination of silver baton style hour markers and Arabic numeral hour markers. In the centre of the dial there is a bold sword style handset that has been partly filled with a luminescent material to allow for nightime readability. A date-display window replaces the 3 o’clock marker. The Sekonda logo is presented in silver beneath the 12 o’clock marker.
The Bracelet:
The stainless steel bracelet is fashioned in a 3-link oyster style. It features a combination of finishes, with the outer two links being polished and the inner link being brushed. The bracelet fastens through the use of fold over deployment clasp.
The Functions:
Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate. It has a water resistance rating of 30 metres, which means it should not be exposed to anything more than light splashes of water.
