The Case:
Sekonda Sports Mens Watch 1845 Quartz Blue Dial Stainless Steel is a diving watch is made from brushed ion-plated stainless steel and it features a distinctive blue and champagne coloured bezel that displays a 60-minute scale. It measures 43mm in diameter and on the side of the case there is a push/pull crown that is protected by a crown guard. Mineral glass is used which provides the watch with superlative levels of protection from scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The sunray blue dial exhibits silver framed baton-style hour markers that have been filled with a luminescence, which enables the dial to be read in the dark. A 60-minute track is positioned in between the hour markers, which allows for a more accurate reading of the time. An arrow-style handset extends from the centre of the dial, the minute and second hand have an orange frame which is pronounced against the blue dial. An orange framed date-display window is located above the 6 o’clock marker.
The Bracelet:
The watch continues to adhere to the aesthetics of a classic dive watch as it utilises a stainless steel 3-link oyster style bracelet. It has been treated to a combination of brushed and polished finishes. It fastens through the use of a deployment clasp.
The Functions:
Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate. It has a water resistance rating of 50 metres, which means it can be worn when swimming in shallow waters.
