The Case:
The Sekonda 1391 is a multi-functional sports watch that combines style and practicality. The case is made from ion-plated stainless steel and it measures 43mm in diameter. On top of the case there is a blue bezel that displays a 60-minute with increments of 5-minutes. At the side of the case there is a push/pull crown that is positioned beside the 3 o’clock marker. Sapphire crystal glass is used which provides the watch with superlative levels of protection from scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The purple dial makes use of a two-step design. The outer dial has a subtle circular brushed finish and it is home to the silver bevelled baton-style hour markers, as well as the 60-minute chapter ring. The inner dial exhibits the three chronograph subdials that display the date, day and 24-hour scale. A silver baton-style handset has been partly filled with a luminescent material so that the dial can be read in the dark. The Sekonda logo is presented in silver at the 12 o’clock position in the inner dial.
The Bracelet:
The stainless steel bracelet comes stylised in a 5-link fashion, it displays a combination of brushed and polished finishes. With the outer two and inner link being brushed and the remaining two links being polished. The bracelet fastens through the use of a fold over deployment clasp.
The Functions:
Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate. It has a water resistance rating of 50 metres, which means it can be worn when swimming in shallow waters.
