The Case:
The Swatch SB06J101-5300 features a circular case that is made from bio-sourced and measures 47mm. The case is presented in a translucent neon hue. It features two pink pushbuttons at 2/4 o’clock and an orange crown at 3 o’clock. It also features a fixed bezel and acrylic glass which provides protection against scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The design of the dial is inspired by a 90’s Swatch Chrono: the collectable Swatch GRAND PRIX SCJ101. It is presented in blue and it displays a chronograph style layout, brandishing three neon yellow subdials. Also present on the dial are a combination of yellow Arabic numeral and white baton-style hour markers. In the centre of the dial there is an orange baton-style handset with luminescent tips and at the edge of the dial there is a striking pink chapter ring.
The Strap:
The bio-sourced strap is presented in blue with. It fastens through the use of a standard buckle. The clasp displays the SwatchPAY! logo in green.
The Functions:
This timepiece is powered by highly reliable Swiss-made quartz mechanisms. It is water resistant up to 30 metres, making it suitable for light splashes. The watch also offers SwatchPay which allows you to connect your debit/credit card with the watch so that you can simply tap your watch on a card reader to make a payment, just as you would with contactless or apple pay!
