Victorinox Swiss Army Alliance Chronograph Blue Dial Silver Stainless Steel Bracelet Men's Watch 241746
Victorinox Swiss Army Alliance Chronograph Blue Dial Silver Stainless Steel Bracelet Mens Watch 241746 RRP £520
The Case:
Elegance and subtly define this understated timepiece, the Victorinox Alliance 241746 measures at 44mm in diameter and just 9mm in height. The brushed circular case is crafted from high-grade stainless steel and it comes equipped with a screw down crown besides the 3 o’clock mark. The addition of a fixed bezel is compliant with the watch's formal styling. Scratch resistant anti reflective sapphire crystal glass sits a top of the dial in order to provide the watch with maximum protection against scratches and shattering. On the flip side there is a screw-in case back.
The Dial:
The blue two tone dial of this timepiece provides the watch with a level of consistency, as it is coherent with understated design. However, upon closer inspection you’ll find details that reveal complete confidence beneath the surface. And as the saying goes, elegance is sufficiency. Thinner, elegant and more refined silver indices are one of the many subtle new features this watch brandishes. Also, complimentary to the watch is the dauphine style hands. One of the most distinctive features that makes this watch so dignified is the 3 sub dials. These are the 30 minute, 12 hour, and 60 second dials. The 12 o’clock marker has been replaced by a Victorinox logo. A date window is also present above the 6 o’clock marker.
The Bracelet:
Perhaps the most alluring feature of this timepiece is the jubilee style stainless steel bracelet. This style was first introduced in 1945 for Rolex’s 40th anniversary – it premiered on the Datejust, one of Rolex’s most renowned dress watches. It is characterised by three narrow, highly polished links situated between the thick, matte finish side links. It fastens using a deployment clasp.
The Functions:
Swiss-made quartz movement powers this timepiece that prides itself on its dependability. It also offers hand and automatic winding, as well as a hacking feature. It is water resistant up to 100 metres, so that is suitable for the purpose of snorkelling.

| 44mm case width | 13mm case thickness | Screw Down Crown |

The Brand: Victorinox
Victorinox Swiss Army is defined by the spirit of innovation and sustainability. Responsibly meeting the needs of the present – and ensuring that future generations will be able to meet theirs – requires innovative thinking of an unprecedented scale.
Robustness, durability and quality are the key requests. The brand first came to fruition in 1884 when Karl Elsener opened a cutlery workshop in Ibach, with the support of his mother Victoria.
The union is founded with the company supplying soldiers knives, which would later be famously known as the Swiss army knife. Following the death of his mother the brand became known as Victorinox, combining his mothers name and the word ‘inox’, an abbreviation for the French word inoxydable or stainless.
In 1989 the brand first launched its first watch collection produced in Biel, Switzerland. Today, the brand is built upon four key values; quality, functionality, innovation & iconic design.
