The Case:
Victorinox FieldForce Watch 241902 is tough, rugged and with a distinctive, sharp aesthetic. The case of this Victorinox Fieldforce 241902 is crafted from brushed stainless steel case and measures 42mm in width and 11mm in depth. The screw-down can be found at 3 o’clock, it is flanked either side by crown guards that prevent it from being accidentally knocked out of place. Two push-buttons can be found either side of the crown at 2 and 4 o’clock, they provide the wearer with access to the dial’s functions. A black PVD stainless steel fixed bezel displays a gold tachymeter scale, this can be used to measure speed based on time travelled over a fixed distance. The case has been topped with triple coated anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass.
The Dial:
The sunburst grey dial showcases a chronograph layout - meaning it features additional dial complications that can be used to measure and displays elapsed time that can assist in timing events or intervals. It consists of three sub-dials at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock that exhibit a 60-second display, a 12-hour display and a 30-minute display. The dial also features Arabic hour markers that are presented in gold. The gold baton-style handset is filled with a Luminous material that enables the dial to be read in the dark. Additionally, a date window can be seen at the 6 o’clock position. The Victorinox logo replaces the 12 o’clock mark.
The Strap:
The watch is presented on a two-tone classic 3-link stainless steel bracelet that exhibits both brushed and polished finishes. It fastens through the use of a three-fold clasp with push button release. The clasp is signed with the Victorinox logo.
The Functions:
Swiss made quartz movement powers the watch, it is positioned within a solid case back. This timepiece is water resistant up to 100 metres, so that it is suitable for snorkelling.
