The Case:
The Victorinox Journey 1884 Automatic 242016.1 case is made from brushed 316L stainless steel and measures 43mm in diameter. It’s equipped with a serrated black rotating bezel that is crafted out of PVD stainless steel, with an aluminum inlay. The black screw down crown, located at 3 o’clock, is flanked either side by a crown guard to prevent it from being knocked out of place. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, providing the watch with solid scratch resistance.
The Dial:
The dial is presented in black, with a grainy textured finish, it exhibits a two-step and a 12/24-hour display. The white Arabic numeral hour markers and hollowed out baton-style hour markers have been coated in SuperLuminova, enabling them to be read in the dark. A date-display window replaces the 6 o’clock marker, while the Luminox logo replaces the 12 o’clock marker.
The Strap:
The watch is presented on a red paracord strap that is woven out of a highly resistant multi-strand nylon cord. It can be easily changed without the use of any tools, allowing for quick personalisation. It fastens through the use of a pin buckle clasp.
The Functions:
A Swiss-made automatic Sellita SW-200-1 calibre movement powers this timepiece. It has an accuracy range of +/- 12 seconds per day and offers a power range of 38 hours when fully charged. It is ISO-certified shock resistant and is waterproof up to 200 metres. It is limited to just 1884 pieces worldwide, it comes with an additional rubber strap and accessories wallet
