The Case:
The case of this Wenger Metropolitan Chronograph 01.1743.114 is made from stainless steel and it features a black polished fixed bezel. Alternatively, the lugs have been finished using a brushing technique, the result of the contrasting steel finishes is subtle, yet aesthetically pleasing. Measuring at 12mm in height, this timepiece makes for the perfect companion whether for your next business meeting or dinner in town. A black crown is also present besides the 3 o'clock mark. Additionally, there are a further two buttons either side of the crown to control the chronograph. Further protection is yielded through sapphire-coated mineral crystal glass, a material which is favoured by luxury watch brands because of its unparalleled scratch and shatter resistance.
The Dial:
The most distinguishing feature of the dial is the sub-dials. There are two of them and they display 30 minute, and 60 second dials. The black coloured dial has a timeless appeal that works perfectly with the brown leather strap, creating a classic looking timepiece. Designed with essential lines it shows the highest attention to detail with relief numerals or glowing in the dark details which make a difference. The dashes of orange provided through increments that run around the edge of the dial and also in the baton style hands animate the dial.
